It’s no secret that we are little jet-setters! We are constantly in airports and planes due to our lifestyle and work. Teacher training, franchise meetings, family and business all take us from place to place, both within Australia and overseas! This is the way we like it and travel is one of our main priorities, however there are some parts that aren’t so great. We’re only human, and despite our yogic lifestyles, we still suffer from the usual travel pains – especially when it comes to being on a plane for a long period of time! However, thanks to our love for yoga, we have found ways to combat this!
Stiff neck:
Neck rotations are great for doing while in a plane seat. Do them slowly and gently to release pressure and tightness through the neck and shoulder area.
Eagle arms
Another good pose to do from your seat, this one creates a release through the upper back and shoulder blades. This is also a good one to do at your desk.
Seated Savasana
Use your time in the air to practice your meditation and mindfulness. You will land feeling enlightened, relaxed and calm!
Circulation
Move your ankles up and down for blood circulation. Hydration is the key when it comes to avoiding swollen joints and feet!

Bon Voyage!
