8 Different Ways To Hydrate After A Hot Yoga Class

When you feel like you have sweat your own weight during a hot yoga class (and trust us, we know how that feels!) rehydrating your body is mega important. We’re sure we wont have to tell you twice to guzzle down some water after class, but here are some other ways to rehydrate while rewarding yourself with a pleasant change from water!

Coconut Water

This is a no-brainer and you will see that it is sold in all of our studios. Full of electrolytes, coconut water is a delicious way to get that fluid back into your body!

Green Tea

A great metabolism and energy booster that also rehydrates you. However, this one should be had as well as water, not just as a complete replacement.

Aloe Vera Juice

Super hydrating and great for digestion AND your skin, Aloe juice is the new coconut water on the block!

Salt And Lemon

The cheapest ‘sports drink’ you can get, and you can make it yourself. A pinch of Himalayan salt and a squeeze of lemon in your water bottle makes a refreshing drink, which also balances your salt and mineral levels.

Watermelon

As it’s name suggests, this fruit is full of water and can be had as a deliciously hydrating snack after class. Blend it with some mint and a squeeze of lemon for a yummy juice!

Cucumber

Rehydrate AND get your dose of greens with this veggie. Slice and sprinkle with some Himalayan salt for a savoury snack!

Yoghurt

One of the more surprising options, yoghurt is full of potassium and sodium and has a large percentage of water. Just be sure to avoid low-fat or sugary versions.

Smoothies

Smoothies are the perfect rehydrating fuel, which is why they are a big part of our 21 Day Detox guide! Include berries, yoghurt, coconut water and oats, and you have a refreshingly hydrating snack ready to slurp!

When is your next sweat sesh!? We’re off for one now!
