10 Yoga Destinations That Should Be On Your Travel List

If here are two things we absolute adore in this world, it’s YOGA and TRAVEL! The two combined is our idea of heaven on earth! We have done a lot of travel (in fact, we are travelling right now!) and have been to some beautiful yoga studios around the world. Visiting different yoga spaces can be very inspiring – especially for our line of work! Practicing yoga while travelling is also an awesome way to keep fit and healthy!

“When Mike and I are travelling, we like to relax a little bit and take a break from our super busy lives. This doesn’t mean we completely forget what we believe in, though! We like finding travel experiences that include exercise, and yoga is of course our favourite way to experience a new place.”

Of course, we still have lots of yoga destinations on our list that we can’t wait to visit – here are some that tickle our travel bug!

Yoga Barn

Ubud, Indonesia

Complete with a healthy café, all-day classes and a huge variety of yoga and mediation styles, this yoga retreat also offers a space for teacher training and private consultations. That’s all well and good… but we’re simply admiring those views!

The Little Yoga Room

Phuket, Thailand

Talk about boutique yoga! Tiny, personalised and amongst the palm trees of Thailand, this little Ashtanga studio looks like pure bliss!

Aradhana Yoga Studio

Mumbai, India

We couldn’t make a list of world yoga studios without including the original yoga destination, India! We’re all for practicing outside in the sunshine with a nice view, and from these pics, it seems that is just what this studio offers!

Adler Mountain Lodge Yoga Retreat

The Dolomites, Italy

More known for it’s pizzas than it’s yoga studios, this is a surprising one from Italy! Set on a mountaintop location with breath-taking views for a pristine practice.

Paddle boards and yoga wellness retreat

Fajardo, Puerto Rico

The best way to work your core (and work on your tan!) is paddle board yoga! We’re big fans and look forward to doing it all around the world! This photos was taken in Fajardo where many hotels and resorts offer this as one of their activities.

Chill’Asana Retreat

Sayulita, Mexico

Image: Hamara Retreat Center

Mexico is one of our FAVOURITE destinations (we were just there for Mike’s 30th!). Need an explanation as to why? Just check out this beautiful photo!

Red Rock Yoga and Hiking Retreat

Utah, USA

Hiking + Yoga + Travel… what could be better!? These are our 3 favourite activities and we can’t wait to tick this one off our list! Yoga photo opportunity supreme!

MYoga Studio

Sri Hartamas, Malaysia

We can’t go past a good-lookin’ studio and this one looks to be up there with the best! We love the textured mirrors 😉

Menla Mountain Retreat

Phoenicia, New York

This studio caught our eye for it’s beautiful interior. Just LOOKING at it is relaxing! We can just see ourselves having a nice long savasana here!

Tranquil Point Retreat

Tasmania, Australia

Of course, we can’t leave out our homeland! This beautiful view comes from a studio in Tasmania – what a stunning spot to strike some yoga poses!

We hope this post inspires you to roll up your mat, pack it in a suitcase and travel the world doing yoga! It’s what we wish for everyone!
